Force Wrestlers Capture 12 Titles at Opening Tournament

The Force Wrestlers had a very solid showing at their opening tournament this past weekend at Nequa Valley High School.  Forty-one Force wrestlers competed amongst a field of over 850 wrestlers at Fox Valley's Mick Ruettiger Invitational.

Force had twelve wrestlers emerge as tournament champions of their weight divisions, while another 25 wrestlers took home medals.

Bantam 53-54 A
Finn McDermott's place is 1st and has scored 20.0 team points.

Bantam 58-59
Lorenzo Gonzalez's place is 1st and has scored 19.0 team points.

Intermediate 57-59
Luke Foster's place is 1st and has scored 24.5 team points.

Intermediate 58-60
Robert Figueroa's place is 1st and has scored 23.0 team points.

Intermediate 65-68
Sean Valentine's place is 1st and has scored 24.0 team points.

Intermediate 67-69
Christian Czerwinski's place is 1st and has scored 25.5 team points.

Novice 64-66
Jason Hampton's place is 1st and has scored 23.0 team points.

Novice 78-82
Tom McDermott's place is 1st and has scored 24.0 team points.

Novice 82-84
Justin Wardlow's place is 1st and has scored 24.0 team points.

Senior 95-100
Gylon Sims's place is 1st and has scored 22.0 team points.

Senior 101-107
Mason Alessio's place is 1st and has scored 24.0 team points.

Senior 207-223
Dillan Johnson's place is 1st and has scored 18.0 team points.

In addition, 12 Force Wrestlers traveled to Coal City and competed in the Lil Coalers Rookie tournament where they had a great showing as well. Congratulations to all of our wrestlers.
